We are evaluating on few network monitoring tools. Wanted to know if PRTG supports BGP peer down and OSPF neighbour down alerts.

I'm afraid PRTG does not have native sensors for BGP and OSPF monitoring. But, please check if the vendor of your device offers any MIB-Files that you can import with our MIB-Importer to monitor the target then with SNMP Library Sensors.
