Good morning
Some days ago, we’ve deleted a „no longer needed“ sensor from our PRTG installation. Unfortunately we now need to compare the data of this sensor with another one … Therefore my question: is it possible to „visualize“ the historic data (which is still available in a backup) of a deleted sensor ? Or is there another way to „recreate“ a single sensor with its data ?
Article Comments
thanks. But: wouldn't such a procedure cause a "restore" of the complete installation ? We only need the data of one single sensor.
BTW: the KB-article describes the backup, not the restore ... (?)

Dear user
The easiest way to undelete the sensor is to restore a backup of the configuration file. Please backup your current configuration first. The default location is
"C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\PRTG Configuration.dat"
This article describes how a configuration form the automated backup can be restored: https://helpdesk.paessler.com/en/support/solutions/articles/12313
