Customizing VMware sensor

Hello,

I monitoring different VMware ESX Servers and their virtual machines. For every VM I get one sensor with various channels, like:

CPU usage Disc read Disc usage Disc write and so on.

Is it possible to implement a ping as channel into these sensors?

Hello,

sorry, adding a "Ping-Channel" to the VMware VM sensors is not possible. This will require an additional device and Ping-Sensor for each VM.
