Hello, i have two servers 2008 r2 that keep getting 'Class(es) not found: "Win32_PerfRawData_PerfProc_Thread" ' errors (sensor Thread: Context Switches/sec _Total/_Total) restarting the WMI service temporary resolve the issue but it keeps coming back

PRTG version 14.2.9.1799 (happens also with older versions)

Thank you

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. The next time, when the sensor shows this error, can you please use our WMI Tester and scan against this particular target with the following query:

SELECT * FROM Win32_PerfRawData_PerfProc_Thread

and take a look at the result you get? Do you get the same error as in PRTG?

Please also see our extensive WMI Troubleshooting Guide.

best regards.
