Hello,
we want to monitor an UPS (remote Probe) and when the remaining battery is below 10 minutes for example a Linux Server (same remote probe as UPS) shall shutdown.
One method would be to pause the SSH Script sensor and when the battery is below 10 minutes a http action notification does a "check now" on the SSH Script Sensor.
But the Check interval for a sensor cannot be deactivated, and a paused sensor is a too big risk for somebody to resume it.
Can you use a SSH Script as an notification?
Or is there an other way to execute a Script on a Device on a remote probe?
Thanks!

Hello,
thank you very much for your KB-Post. The only way to execute a script under a Remote Probe, is as a sensor. Probes cannot execute (or send for that matter) notifications. Sorry.
best regards.
