That does not really answer the questions I'm afraid, but presuming that it's an HTTP Sensor, once again, is there a proxy involved here (either in the network itself, or maybe falsely entered in PRTGs settings)?

sorry no proxy involved, we have other http sensors working, only this one seems to have an issue.

What happens if you access the URL entered in the sensor from the PRTG host with a browser?

Hello,
you see this on an HTTP Sensor? Is there a Proxy involved in the scenario?
Depending on the type of web page you are trying to access with an HTTP sensor, there might be a form that you need to enter credentials in. In this case you may need to do this in a POST format in the sensor settings to gain access to the site first.
best regards.
