We have HP servers and want to know exactly what Disk Controller status monitors? does it monitor the health of the disk array? If not, what do we have to do to monitor this?

The OID used, 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.3.1.3, returns the value = cpqDaMibCondition. From the device documentation, this is defined as: The overall condition (status) of the system represented by this MIB.

It represents the ProLiant Drive Arrays' status (e.g. degraded or failed). Please refer to the respective Proliant documentation, these entries should be explained in the same.
