WMI CPU Load Sensor shows values greater than 100%

I have 5 cpus on a virtual machine and the CPU load sensor will sometimes show greater than 100% cpu utilization. The highest value recorded is 1258%. How is this possible?

thank you very much for your KB-Post. False readings can happen with sensors every now and then. Please use the Spike Filter to remove them.
