I am trying to monitor our banks online banking site to make sure it is up and pulling account information like balances and such. We have a demo account with login credentials that we use for testing. I was trying to use a HTTP Transaction sensor for this, but all I get is a Read Timed Out error. If I use GET for the URL that I got using URL Recorder it comes back OK. If I use POST and the POSTDATA information from URL Recorder it errors out. Am I using the wrong sensor here or am I doing some else wrong?

Hello,
thank you very much for your KB-Post. Please be aware that some banks (being very focused on security) might not like repetitive HTTP-Scans against there webpages and portals. Please see if the following KB-Article helps: Configuration Tips for HTTP Transaction Sensors needed
For a simple availability check of the bank website only though, we would recommend a normal simple HTTP Sensor.
best regards.
