I was looking into a solution for this and found out that you can disable per user basis. In our case, we send notifications to a group and PRTG picked that email to send the tickets to the group, so if we disable per user ticket notification still sends the email to the entire group.

This feature is nice, however it gets pretty annoying after receiving so many reports created plus ticket email notifications for each.

Please let me know if there is a work around to avoid the system to send notifications of tickets per email to a group.

Thanks.

Dear Vicky,

the user account setting Tickets as Emails: Yes/No is valid for both the ticket notifications sent to individual users and the ticket notifications sent to user groups. This means that a user with this setting set to No will not receive any notifications from PRTG when tickets are assigned to him/her, or when a ticket is edited that is currently assigned to either him/her or a user group he/she is member of.

A user can set this for his/her account, or the PRTG administrator can set this for all accounts using multi-edit under Setup | System Administration | User Accounts in the PRTG web interface.
