Hello, recently i've been getting the following error:

"Could not start webserver for http://192.168.2.101: "" is not a valid interger value"

I've tried different ip's and ports, still bringing up the same problem.

thank you very much for your KB-Post. May I ask, can you please try setting PRTG's web server to use port 80 on localhost / 127.0.0.1. Does it start then?

Could you please forward us your system log files for analysis?

There is an option to upload the logs to our FTP-Server, using the button "Send Logs to Paessler..." on the tab "Logs" in the "PRTG Server Administrator" tool (see Windows start menu).

If you want to manually collect log files in order to send them via email, you will find the log files within the data directory as defined under the "Core Server" tab of the "PRTG Server Administrator" tool, or in the following default paths:

XP/2003: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\Logs (System)

Vista/2008/Windows 7: C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\Logs (System)

Please be aware that it might also be an additional folder named 'V7' or 'V8' in which the "Logs (System)" folder resides.

Submitted logs and they have not been posted. Whats going on?

I did download and analyze the logfiles on February 19th, and send you a response by via email to the email-address registered in your KB-Account. Please check any spam filters if the message got caught there: According to the Core logfile, there is a problem with the configuration file (it may have been corrupted).

Please try to replace your running config file:

C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\PRTG Configuration.dat

with one from the auto backup folder:
C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\Configuration Auto-Backups

The config from February 10th, or the one before, should work and once you have replaced it restart the PRTG services. Please also take a look at the following KB-Article explaining this process:
