Check occurrence of file

Is there any way to check occurrence of a specific file type at specified folder and subfolders? F.e. check *.AVHD file at ClusterStorage recursively.. Thanks

thank you very much for your KB-Post. I'm very much afraid this is not possible with the inbuilt Folder Sensor in PRTG. But there are alternatives, please see the following article: Monitor folder - only certain file types.
