Hi,

Wondering if there is a way to monitor my IBM v7000 ? I found this question but no answer : https://www.paessler.com/knowledgebase/en/topic/46323-monitoring-a-v7000-with-prtg

I also found a MIB on IBM website but no OID imported in prtg by MIB importer.

Regards,

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. May I ask, could you please link to the MIB-File in question? It could be that the MIB only contains trap counters, but then you could use the new (as of PRTG version 14.1.8) SNMP Trap Sensor to monitor the IBM 7000.

best regards.

Here is the link to the MIB on IBM website : https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=ssg1S4000598

I try both file but no one add sensor.

I'm upgrading my PRTG version to 14.1.8.

The MIB-Importer 3.4.7 is able to import 16 counters from the 2nd MIB there (for 6.4.1). Did you maybe try the old version 2 of the MIB-Importer? In addition there are also traps in the MIB, so you can also set the target to send traps to PRTG, and then use the mentioned Trap Sensor.
