How can I create customs template to report discards 1n/out

I seen the KB on how to edit a template but didn't see how to change it to report on discards

Depending on what report you are running, you may need to make this channel your primary channel since reports like the top 10 will only collect stats for the primary channel. If you use other report templates like the graph or graph and table reports, you should only need to select that channel to have it shown.
