Good day,
From the articles I have come across, it seems in order to do a full complete backup of PRTG one would need to stop services manually to get the most recent data. Is there a best known method for automating backups of the PRTG system so this is not a manual process?
Currently we use the Asigra/Xilocore client for backup, but this would apply to any automated system such as BackupExec, Acronis, etc. Is there a way to get a complete backup of the system/database? Or do we need to create scheduled jobs to stop our monitoring nightly and batch copy the flat files off to another system?
Thanks for your time.
