Hi, I just installed PRTG Free Trial on Linux Ubuntu and while on Setup, I had an error

"PRTG Webserver could not be started properly. (Unknown)" And after I clicked "OK"

I got another error saying

"Invalid PRTG Webserver Configuration"

What can I do to fix this?

Hi,
PRTG is a Windows only program. Therefore installation on Ubuntu is not supported. Sorry.
However, as Wine does not support background services while emulating Windows it is not even possible to get PRTG running on Linux.

Ah ok I thought it was possible cause I found this on the forum.

You tried to install PRTG on a Linux system. The other article is about "what system can be monitored using PRTG?".

This means, you've got to install PRTG on a windows system, but you can check if your Linux/Unix server is up and running and get a notification if it fails.
