Hi there
I have a scenario where I have a small network 10 pcs (windows 7) a Win2008 server and a modem router as the gateway. All the computers browse through the gateway directly. I am trying to work out a way of how to determine what computer(s) are using a lot of bandwidth on browsing the web etc. I have setup a SNMP sensor for the router and can obtain a traffic graph of the internet usage, but have no idea what computer(s) are using all the bandwidth. The router doesn't seem to have section to display what IP's are connected to it
Any ideas would be appreciated cheers

Hello,
thank you very much for your KB-Post. There is no simple answer to this question. The approach depends completely on the setup and topology of your network as well as the software and hardware used. Please have a look at the following article: How do I discern excessive bandwidth usage with PRTG?
best regards.
