My DHCP sensor has been logging a timeout error exactly every 5 minutes, to the second. And then another log entry 1 second after that one that shows the dhcp is up. This happens every 5 minutes to the second.

Here's a sample: 10/19/2013 10:38:01 PM 2 msec 24 h 0 % 100 % 10/19/2013 10:37:02 PM 2 msec 24 h 0 % 100 % 10/19/2013 10:36:01 PM 2 msec 24 h 0 % 100 % 10/19/2013 10:35:13 PM 2 msec 24 h 0 % 100 % 10/19/2013 10:35:11 PM Error Error Error 100 % 10/19/2013 10:34:01 PM 2 msec 24 h 0 % 100 % 10/19/2013 10:33:02 PM 2 msec 24 h 0 % 100 % 10/19/2013 10:32:02 PM 2 msec 24 h 0 % 100 % 10/19/2013 10:31:02 PM 2 msec 24 h 0 % 100 % 10/19/2013 10:30:12 PM 2 msec 24 h 0 % 100 % 10/19/2013 10:30:11 PM Error Error Error 100 % 10/19/2013 10:29:01 PM 2 msec 24 h 0 % 100 % 10/19/2013 10:28:01 PM 2 msec 24 h 0 % 100 % 10/19/2013 10:27:01 PM 2 msec 24 h 0 % 100 % 10/19/2013 10:26:01 PM 2 msec 24 h 0 % 100 % 10/19/2013 10:25:12 PM 2 msec 24 h 0 % 100 % 10/19/2013 10:25:11 PM Error Error Error 100 %

Anyone have any suggestions?

What error are you getting when this happens? Sometimes we have seen this happen if there is another device scanning at a 5 minute interval as well so be sure to check that.

Please also check this device with the WMI tester and set it to scan at the same interval. Is there any error message there? WMI Tester
