Hello,

I've been using PRTG with a 100 person license, and I need to move it to another server. I've went to delete the license key on the server it is currently on, and it has asked to restart PRTG Core Server Service for the changes to be made.

I would just like to confirm whether this will only restart PRTG or the server itself, as the server is running a live site, and restarting it isn't really an option.

Apologies if there is an answer to this already, however I didn't see one.

Hi,
when applying a setting in the PRTG Server Administrator only the PRTG Service will be restarted but not the whole server itself. This restart of the service is necessary for PRTG to pick up the changes.
