prtg custom sensor

Hello PRTGmaniacs !

Is it possible to create a custom sensor that create channels (the name will be the first element of the csv colum) for each line of a csv file and is it possible to have a string value and not just a integer.

If you have an idea I really appreciate. If PRTG can't do it, what network monitoring tool can help me ?

Hi,

Creating channels from a .csv file can be done with a Custom Sensor. A single string value can be returned the sensor message, the channels can only hold integers and decimals.
