If the PRTG SMTP sensor does try all IPs in the mx record given, is this behavior occur in all versions of PRTG, specifically version 8?
Also, if the sensor only tries one IP, is there a way to configure this to try all IPs in the MX returned?

Hello,
thank you very much for your KB Post. With several IPs returned on an MX Record, PRTG tries all IPs that are returned (starting with the first) until one "works" and the SMTP-Sensor is able to process its scan. But if the first one already works, the others will not be tested.
best regards.
