Hi there,

I'm trying to delete an old admin (the one who set up our PRTG originally and am unable to. I am an administrator and can delete any other user but his account does not have a delete button next to it. When I try to delete the account, I get the error:

13.3.4.2557 You cannot delete 'fixed' objects like the 'root node' or the 'admin group' or your own account

What do I need to update in order to remove his account? Thanks!

Hi,
as the error message says, this account cannot be deleted as is is the prtgadmin account. You can change the account using the PRTG Server Administrator tool but not delete it.
