We had an issue at work with the internet connection, this caused that the servers and all sensors that we have connected to PRTG were not able to send any information, since the email server was unable to communicate either we are still receiving meesages from the queue even though evertything is back up after an hour. Is there a condition to place on PRTG to tell it to stop sending messages after so many (whatever quantity we decide) alerts?

You can use Notification Summarization when setting up your notifications for events like this. You could set up this notification to summarize other events instead of continuing to send an alert every scanning interval. Setting up Notifications

Thanks, this is a setting on the email notification that we have in place already, now i have to see how does it work on text messages.
