Hey, im trying to import an external mib file using the prtg v2 mib importer for prtg v12. each mib im trying to import gets the same error. would like to get your help in how to get this mib file called SNMPv3-SMI?

Hey, Using the latest version it still happens, it gives an error that the module snmpv3-smi is missing. checked in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Paessler MIB Importer V3\stdmib folder, no snmpv3-smi, only SNMPv2-SMI.

Hi John,

which MIB file are you trying to import? A SNMPv3-SMI doesn't exist (at least officially, at least to my knowledge) - please ask the manufacturer of your external MIB file for this SNMPv3-SMI module. Or you could try to alter the IMPORT clause in your MIB file (after backupping the original!) with a simple text editor to SNMPv2-SMI and see what happens then.
