HTTP sensors failing for Website checks

I am getting error 401 when using the advanced http sensor, yet the credentials I have entered into the sensor are correct. Is there a certain syntax for the credential that I have to use?

When you enter in credentials for the website, it should not be any different than when you access the site normally. Make sure to correctly select which type of authentication is needed for the site, either NTLM or basic. If all of this is correct, can you please provide more information about the website that you are trying to access?
