Getting an error when trying to send link by email

When viewing a sensor data page and clicking on the send link button I get an error:

can not start outlook. Script error. unknown command.

I have the outlook 2010 client installed and configured and I can send and recieve emails fine.

This feature could be very useful to me so I would like to get it working.

thank you very much for your KB-Post. May I ask which exact version of PRTG you are using? Also in which browser are you clicking on the "Send Link"-Button?

I am using IE 9 and the PRTG version is 13.1.2.1447 Also the alert notification emails are working fine.
