PRTG V5 customers in using very long time to get the Cisco Nexus 7K SNMP.

PRTG v6 using SNMP to get the faster time.

Initial Standard Traffic Sensor -> Sensor Selection After Scanning a long time Takes. Prtg v 5 only.

PRTGv6 faster.

It is possible that version 6 is faster yes. It is the more recent software and it is better optimized. But please understand that we can not provide support for these old versions anymore (we are now at version 13).
