Hello, is there any possibility to see if a raised error has it´s reason in a failure caused by the sensor (e.g. timeout, lack of configuration) or the error is a "real" one on the target system?
Thank you!

Hello,
in some cases it will be possible to discern configuration issues in sensor error-messages, for example wrong credentials. In other cases though, a sensor targeting a wrong IP for example, it might show a timeout as well as if the target were properly down. It very much depends on the sensor and protocol as well. Ping will show a timeout for several possible error-cases, however other sensor types may differ between a Read-Timeout (no connection at all) and a Connection-Timeout (connection was established but then no reactions on it anymore).
best regards.
