Is there a whitepaper with the recommendations on how to backup PRTG?

The group is trying to backup PRTG and its historical data in order to meet the requirements by the BCDR. Is there a white paper with the recommendations on how to back it up? If possible to back up the historical data and the customizations of it as well.
