We would like to change the master node in our Cluster due to performance and availability. I've seen KB articles on how to decommission a current master and make the current Fail-over Master, but we would like to keep the current master in the cluster as well. How can we simply change the master role to another cluster node?

Hi,
I'm afraid there is no easy way to just flip the nodes of a cluster. You will have to break up the cluster and start over again when you are attempting to change the node types.
Best regards
