We have just installed PRTG on a new build of Windows Server 2012.

It all works great apart from a warning event log in the Microsoft >> Windows >> ServerManager-ManagementProvider >> Operational event log.

Normally I wouldn't worry about this but it causes the server manager to report manageability errors with the server.

The event log is:

Generic failure querying the localized name for channel: PRTG Network Monitor [hResult = Function failed during execution., hLastResult = The system cannot find message text for message number 0xPRTG Network Monitor in the message file for Function failed during execution..].

Event ID: 46 Source: ServerManager-ManagementProvider Task Category: Get server inventory task

we are aware of this problem and our developers are working on it with high prio. At the moment you can not do anything until the fix for the Server 2012 is implemented, please bear with us.
