Hello,
I have a question: If the event log runs up an error should be reported in this PRTG and light up as errors.
The Backup Exec throws in a failed backup following an event log with Event ID 34113 and the message "Backup Exec: Job Failed". When this event occurs PRTG should report it as alarm.

Hello,
it should be possible to do this, with setting up a WMI Eventlog Sensor just filtering for this Event with ID and message, and then setting the Upper Error Limit in the Channel Settings of the sensor to '0'. Which will set the sensor into error state as soon as it monitors such an event. However the sensor will only remain in the error state until the next scan when no such new event is found.
best regards.
