I am planning an update of my PRTG 8 to PRTG 12. For this I installed a new server (actually test server) which I would then take productive when all tests are done. The actual (old) server will then be removed.
As actually my test server is without license I am limited with Probes. Could I put our license in the new server in parallel with the original server without having issues with my actual productive server ? Once all tests done and migration finished, the actual (old) will be removed and the new go productive. So at the end I will still have only one server running with our license. So it will only run a little moment on two servers. Many thanks for your support.

you might just use a trial license. It is unrestricted for 30 days and can if needed be extended.
