I'm going to upgrade PRTG 8.1.0.1628 to 12.3.4.2994 soon.

Now I discovered that V12 does not accept the greater and lower character (< , >) in HTTP Transaction sensors . These chars are replaced by [ and ]. In HTTP Advanced Sensor there is no problem.

As I use these characters in many Transaction sensors this issue is blocking the upgrade.

Any idea how to handle the characters < and > in HTTP Transaction sensors?

Hello, I put < and > chars in the "Transaction URL" fields.

Meanwhile Paessler Support contacted me and confirmed that with the next stable build < and > character will not be converted into brackets any more.
