For a given Service, if the Sensor Display's Primary Channel is set to "Running (msec)", what are the milliseconds supposed to be telling me? The time it takes for the service to respond to the SNMP probe? I tend to think of Services as either being started or stopped.

Hello,

the "Running" time of the WMI Service sensor simply shows the time which is necessary to perform the WMI query in order to receive the data from the target device. As this is not exactly the most useful value you can get, you might want to change the primary channel of this sensor to show another value, e.g. the CPU usage.

If the monitored service is currently running or not is reflected in the sensor's status.
