Hi,

I have a custom WMI sensor that monitors DFSR Bytes per second. I have set a notification to fire if the channel data is 0 for an extended period of time. I would like to also change the status of the sensor to warning or error at the same time. Is this possible?

To clarify - the sensor may return 0 as part of normal operation. But if it stays at 0 for several hours, then it may be the indication of an issue. So I have a threshold notification generated when the value is 0 for x number of seconds. I would like to be able to do the same for sensor status.

Thanks.

Hello,

you can change the state of the sensor with Warning- and Error-Limits in the Channel-Settings of a sensor, but there is no possibility to apply a time condition for these limits. Sorry.

best regards.
