monitoring a device reboot?

I have Motorola access point that i want to monitor when it reboots via a remote power controller autoping feature which reboots the device if it can't ping it. I want to know when that happens. I currently have an uptime sensor for the device, but i don't want to get a notification every time we reboot the device because of a programming update, only when the device gets rebooted because of the remote power controller. any idea's

I don't see how this could be accomplished using PRTG.
