ID field for advanced custom sensor

Hello,

I'm in the process of setting up an advanced custom sensor. Is it possible to create an ID field for each channel to identify the channels uniquely instead of the channel name. This would make the custom advanced sensor much more usable because channel names can change, but the data behind the channel is the same.

So in short: create an extra ID field for each channel in the advanced sensor XML file and that field would be the base value for PRTG to identify the channel.
