Custom sensor

I've downloaded a custom sensor called "ExternalIP.exe". Then what should I do? I have copied this file to the folder of "Sensor System" but I cannot find the relevant sensor during carrying out the add sensor process.

Hi,
please place the exe in <PRTG Install Directory>\Custom Sensors\EXE . Then it should show up in the dropdown when adding a EXE/Script Sensor. Please note that a restart of the PRTG COre Service might be necessary to make the sensor show up.
