I am new to PRTG, so forgive me if this is a stupid question.

I have PRTG setup on an IP space at work that does not get out to the internet and for monitoring servers on the same space, it works fine.

A web server we use is hosted by GoDaddy and therefore is on a completely separate subnet. I want to manage that server. I opened the firewall on the GoDaddy server to accept all traffic from the PRTG server and gave PRTG a proxy server that we use so it can get out to the internet but it still fails to work. Any advice?

is the proxy also entered in the settings in PRTG for the parent device entered: https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/device_settings.htm
