If a sensor goes down and then recovers, is it possible to make the sensor still push an alert that needs to be acknowledged? E.g. if an uptime sensor goes down for any period, and the device is restarted, could the sensor be made to still raise an alert to notify the user that something has happened between instances of checking PRTG?
Is it possible for alerts to stay as red even if sensor recovers?

Hi there,
I'm afraid it's not possible to let the sensor in this failed state all tough the sensor is working properly again.
PRTG uses Notifications in combination with Triggers to send you alerts whenever PRTG discovers a defined status, such as slow or failing sensors, or when sensor channels breach threshold values. In case you want to know each sensor down, please configure Notification Triggers to get an alarm in case anything happens.
