Hi,
We just deployed PRTG and have 1000 sensors up and running. Now we notice that none of the SMTP sensors have limits. Can I change all smtp sensors in use to have lets say 500msec as upper warning and 1000msec as upper error?
once that is setup we want all sensors with limits active to send emails to a group or admin, can this be done on the top or probe level?

The easiest way to do this would be to put all of the similar sensors into a Library which you could create a node for where you filter all of your sensors by type and then set up a notification trigger for it. In the trigger you could define which groups would get the notification when. See also the Paessler website: How to set up notifications via the PRTG web interface.
