We have a custom map showing the status donut and a couple graphs. Is there a way to add an icon that can tell us if a system being monitored by our enterprise Defender for Endpoint system get's an alert? Like a blinking icon or something? Thanks!

Hello, my understanding is that you want to see on a PRTG map an icon from your endpoint defender in case any machine in the network gets an alert like a virus threat on an end user machine? You can only see sensors states on the PRTG map, or an HTML object. So if your enterprise defender software has any way to send an alert via email or via SNMP or something, you might be able to create a sensor for that in PRTG, and then show it in the map. But this is mostly based on the capabilities of your defender software to notify that.

Thanks. So you are saying we can use some sort of html type link if there is a notification in the defender software?

You can add a custom html object to the map. Like custom text, images, or applets from other products. If your defender software has an option to display a webpage with the information or an applet through HTML, you can display it in the map. More information here in the Map Designer manual.
