We’ve noticed that our PRTG site is showing Not Secure in Red because of a Certificate issue. I’ve looked as the Certificate and its still showing the PRTG Demo Certificate but its still valid to 06/07/23

I ran a scan with the free Digicert tool and it found another self signed certificate which expires next month. What happens when self signed certificates expire? will we lose access ?

How do I make this secure?

If your certificate expires, you will still have access to your PRTG server. But you will run a productive environment with an expired certificate. Will it work, yes. Would I recommend this, not really.

I suggest to address this topic and maybe consider to import your own certificate to the PRTG Core Server.
