I'm searching for a method to monitor objects like printers in PRTG without them giving error messages.
Printers will sometimes be 'offline' which cause an error, but these error's are irrelevant.
Is there a method to 'passively' monitor them without clouding the list of errors?
There was once an old post which mentioned something similar if not the same, but that post is by now 10 years old. I'm curious if there is a solution by now. (or if one is coming) KB article

Hi there,
if you know when the printer goes offline, you can use a schedule to pause the Sensor while the printer is offline.
Another option would be to configure a master Sensor for the printer e.g. a Ping Sensor. If you do this, all other Sensors will be paused if the Ping Sensor goes "Down". In addition, the Ping Sensor has the option for "auto-acknowledge" which will acknowledge the Sensor as soon as he goes into the "Down" state.
