Hi all,
I need to measure the performance of a Website. However this website has only a very small "static" part, so the pure HTML GET request is very fast. The majority of the website's content is loaded dynamically via ASP.NET SignalR. This "dynamic" part is the relevant one (long-lasting) and the sensor should be capable to include this in the measure. The sensor should take the measure only when all network activity between webpage and webserver has stopped. All Web / HTML based sensors I tried did only measure the "static" part.
Is there a sensor type that would fit my needs?
Best regards, Stefan
Hello,
Thank you for your message.
Regarding dynamic websites, I invite you to use the EXE/Script or EXE/Script Advanced with a custom script to monitor them.
Please, find the documentation regarding custom sensors here: https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/custom_sensors.
If you have questions, let us know.
Regards.
