Hello!
I would like to ensure that the SNMP synology physical Disk sensor monitors for S.M.A.R.T drive status? I want to be sure to know if a disk enter warning or failed state.
If not: how may i check for this values with SNMP?

Hello,
Thank you for your message.
The SNMP Synology Physical Disk sensor only monitors the disk state. However, Synology provides a MIB (Smart MIB) which you could use to get information from SMART.
I invite you to have a look to the manual from Synology (go to Synology Smart MIB): https://global.download.synology.com/download/Document/Software/DeveloperGuide/Firmware/DSM/All/enu/Synology_DiskStation_MIB_Guide.pdf ? Here is the link to download the MIBs: https://global.download.synology.com/download/Document/Software/DeveloperGuide/Firmware/DSM/All/enu/Synology_MIB_File.zip ?
To import it in PRTG, please use our MIB Importer tool right here: https://www.paessler.com/tools/mibimporter Then, you should be able to use the MIB with the |SNMP Library sensor.
Kind regards.
