The Windows Updates Status returns error "Couldn't retrieve OS information. Resultset was empty"

Core is running 18.1.37.13946+ and has powershell 4.x installed
Target is running Server 2012 R2 and has powershell 4.x installed

I've removed the sensor and added it back, this resolved the problem for a single polling period then it failed again. No other servers have this problem.

I've searched the KB, etc and cannot find any threads with this error. Please help!

Could you turn on the Write Sensor Result to Disk setting in the settings for the sensor?

This will go to %programdata%\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\Logs (Sensors)

Open a support ticket, and send us that file for analysis.
