I have searched the kb and found some decent answers. https://helpdesk.paessler.com/en/support/solutions/articles/66899-apc-ups-snmp-battery-replace-sensor#reply-219779 was close to my answer. My supervisor would like proactive warnings on battery replacement date. APC does provide the battery replacement through a ASN integer once the battery require replacement.
If I put the proper OID in I am able to get a replacement date out of the SNMP. Is it possible to setup a warning and alarm by date in the mm/dd/yyyy format? I am assuming this is not possible but thought I would check anyways.
11/3/2020 1:31:33 PM (17 ms) : SNMP V1
11/3/2020 1:31:33 PM (22 ms) : Custom OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.21.0
11/3/2020 1:31:33 PM (30 ms) : SNMP Datatype: ASN_OCTET_STR
11/3/2020 1:31:33 PM (36 ms) : -------
11/3/2020 1:31:33 PM (40 ms) : Value: 03/15/2025
11/3/2020 1:31:33 PM (45 ms) : Done

Hi Jeff,
Thank you for the post in our KB!
PRTG cannot display strings into a channel. Therefore, you would need to use the integer value which also indicates that the date format is not possible to use.
