Has anyone found a way of monitoring a full Azure environment (services, health, cpu etc via WMI/SNMP) from within PRTG ?
We are now looking to move a number of servers into the cloud but we need full monitoring before we can do so, not looking to move away from PRTG as we have used it very successfully for years now.
any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You can find details about the Microsoft Azure Virtual Machine Sensor here: https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/microsoft_azure_virtual_machine_sensor
Please have a look at the PRTG roadmap for more details of upcoming Azure sensors.

As of right now, there is no integrated sensor in PRTG for Azure. There was one from PRTGToolsFamily, which has been discontinued due to permanent API changes. Not much we can do here, maybe a fellow KB user has a script in his treasure chest? :)
